My name: Marissa Melton.
My creds: I work for an international broadcasting agency in Washington, D.C., writing newscast stories that are translated into a variety of other languages for broadcast. I previously wrote for U.S. News and World Report, did some part-time producing for NPR, and variously did announcing, reporting, producing, and general interfering at several public radio stations.
I have an M.A. in journalism from UNC Chapel Hill and a B.A. in English lit from Wake Forest University.
And an attitude. Did I mention the attitude?
