About Me

My name: Marissa Melton.

My creds: I work for an international broadcasting agency in Washington, D.C., writing newscast stories that are translated into a variety of other languages for broadcast. I previously wrote for U.S. News and World Report, did some part-time producing for NPR, and variously did announcing, reporting, producing, and general interfering at several public radio stations.

My 'hood

I have an M.A. in journalism from UNC Chapel Hill and a B.A. in English lit from Wake Forest University.

And an attitude. Did I mention the attitude?

    • Because I don’t post enough! But you are wonderful, you’ve alerted me to the fact that this blog is the perfect place to describe SNL in detail, and it will fit right in with what I’m trying to do with the blog. Plus, for Pete’s sake it’s been more than a month since I posted anything and that’s just pathetic. Thank you for the idea, and for reading!
